how to make hair smell really good

I have a lot of hair as my haircut is quite long, lots of shampoo is bad however after a few days it starts to smell not as good as I do usually, its not noticably bad but a girl could notice it while being with me

what can be done other than shampooing more often which I don't want to do?

use infused oil for your hair and rinse it out with cold water and conditioner. Since i have wavy/curly hair i use Coconut infused oil that can be left in the hair or just rinsed out with a conditioner, i got complimented a couple of times that my hair smells really nice ''which is rare for a guy''. Also you can use a leave in conditioner, all depends on your hair type.

is there a certain type of oil you used or will any do?

as i said coconut infused oil.

Pantene infused oils are good for the price, chose the one your hair type needs.
