After you get your moles removed, keep the area clean and moist using Vaseline or Aquaphor. Once it heals and the scab falls off, use a silicone gel or silicone sheet every day to stop a scar from forming. Always wear sunscreen on the spot to prevent dark marks. Don’t use retinal or strong products until at least 6 weeks later, when the skin is fully healed. Then you can use retinal if the scar needs fading.
