Most people go to a surgeon expecting them to do all the work since they are “ the professionals” and after they get the surgery they either
You have to keep in mind that most surgeons are only trained to fix a problem rather than give you a solution for it, and they're also trained and taught on how to avoid any legal problems. So you have to be aware of what you say because anything could stop you from pressing charges. Here is what you need to keep in mind so you dont get fucked up:
Keep in mind that a surgeon might refuse to give you a surgery after knowing that you're aware of their tricks , so if they do it's better to avoid them and search for another surgeon.
SURGEONS ARE NEVER ON YOUR SIDE, so even if they accept the surgery, you have to make sure you have something that you can sue them for if they fuck you up. Before the surgery, send them an email confirming your discussion with him about the surgery, make sure to say that you are going to pursue legal action if you don't get what you wanted. If they ignore your email, or if they don't confirm the email DON'T GET THE SURGERY.
It's always a good thing to make sure how many mm’s they're projecting your maxilla, if you ask them and they say:
“ 2-4 mm” dont get they surgery
“5-7”mm” good clear answer
“ as much as we safely can” the best answer you will get
They might also reply with :
“ too much projection looks unnatural”
“ we can’t go too far forward”
“Your bite will be misaligned”
But remember they only say that to scare you not because they care about you. Tell them that you're okay with slight misalignment and that you need as much projection as safely possible, if they keep hesitating then they don't know what to do.
If they say yes to all your requests and still give you something other than what you asked for, don't email the surgeon.
Make sure to hire a lawyer and explain everything to him and show him all the emails that you had with your surgeon. You will have all the evidence to get your money back minimum, you can also sue for pain and suffering to get more money. If your case is strong you might get around 3-4x what you paid for the surgery but this isn't guaranteed.
Might be water thread.

- Don't get what they wanted
- They get a completely different thing
- Their looks dont change at all

- Know what you want, never let a surgeon decide that for you.
- Never take recommendations from a surgeon, surgeons don't care about you , they care about your money so taking recommendations from them will only make their job easier.
- Be aware of everything the surgeon says, this is the most important thing , they might trick you by saying things like : “ i know what im doing” , “ fixing your bite will also enhance your looks” or they might scare you into thinking that if you don't do what they tell you to do you will look worse.
- Never change your mind mid way, if you want something keep asking for it, changing your mind will only make it easier for them to trick you.
- Keep your answers straight forward. Giving broad answers would only make it easier for them to fuck you up and avoid legal trouble.
