How to not end up skinny fat after caloric deficit?

My biggest fear is that even after i get to BMI 19 i will still have a ton of face fat and 0 abs even tho i workout consistenly, is there any "extras" i can do to make sure that caloric deficit is working against fat and not my muscles?
 
keep "replacing" the fat tissue with muscle mass as in; weight lift and eat high protein diet
