How can I become neurotypical so I could make friends. Will I need to watch the trending anime to fit in with normies?

Go on discord servers with active VC's and talk for hours. Helped me become more NT after years of isolation playing vidya and scrolling YouTube by myself

in my experience most of the time they’ll barely pay attention to you or just completely ignore you and stay within their own circle

If you're not NT, then yeah. That's how I started out.
Once I became more NT, I could dominate any conversation.
Even transferred to irl, still don't talk to girls though because of subhuman looks
