This is the ultimate GUIDE, on how to classify any European Caucasoid phenotype effectively. no copes. and an extremely EASY way.
NOTES: do not oversimplify anything. a guy with blue eyes and dark hair is not automatically a North Atlantid, a guy with a good jaw is not automatically a DALOFAELID, and a blonde guy with a narrow face is not automatically Hallstatt.
Now the real tutorial begins.
1 - Determine the type of the European Caucasoid.
- So, before you do ANYTHING and jump straight ahead, you have to determine the type of the person you are classifying. I will list all these types and how to classify them.
- Nordid type. (Old Nordid type, Hallstatt type, Tronder type, North Sea Germanic type, Keltic Nordid type, and Eastern Nordid type).
- Mediterranid type. (Gracile Mediterranid type, Atlanto-Med type, Pontid type, Sardinian type, Saharid type).
- Alpinid type. (East Alpinid type, West Alpinid type, Gorid type, Strandid type).
- Eastern Europid type (Neo Danubian type, Savolaxid type, Tavastid type, Pre Slavic type).
- Dinaric type. (Dinarid type, Norid type).
- Armenoid type. (Anatolid type, Armenid type).
- Cromagnid type. (Paleo Atlantid type, Brunn type, Dalofaelid type, Berberid type).
- and the NICHE type.
NOW, what's the niche type? the niche type is basically the phenotypes that are MIXED between traits.
I will tell you all of these phenotypes: North Atlantid, North Pontid, Borreby, Paleo Atlantid (both niche and Cromagnid), Litorid, Carpathid, and Sub Nordid.
Now, since we know all the types, how to IDENTIFY each of them?
You usually identify them by the WATER stuff, such as coloring and skull shape.
Nordid: light eyes, light hair, dolichocephalic or mesocephalic (long to medium skulls)
Alpinid: mixed eyes, brown hair, roundish features and brachycephalic.
East Europid: depigmented, shorter and rounder features, and usually brachycephalic.
That's basically the ways to determine the type. you often determine it by the stereotypical features. and it's usually found on humanphenotypes.net, now after you determine the type and is 100% sure, than the next step comes.
2 - Determining the subgroup.
Now, determining the subgroup is determining the phenotype. after you have figured out the type of the person, never think outside the box, If you are 100% sure he is NORDID, than he is one of the NORDID phenotypes, and same goes for the rest of the types.
Now, you only focus on these few traits, head size and shape (the robustness), forehead, lip size and length, nose size and length, eye shape and eyebrow shape. that's it. notice how you only focus on the features when you determine the subgroup, but instead you use coloring and head size for determining the type. that's a key difference.
Now, you just take the person that you are trying to classify, and you try to compare.
You try to check all of the FEATURES I pointed above, and if they are in position with the person, than he's that phenotype. NOTE: he doesn't have always to have all features 100%, but if he's closer to it than any other phenotype, than yes that indicates him being this phenotype.
I will classify Louis Hoffman, who is of Nordid type.
Compared him with Keltic Nordid, doesn't fit the features? move on to the next one.
Now that's more like it. Identical forehead, Identical coloring, Identical lips, and eye shape.
Now there are outliers to this, the NICHE phenotypes are not specifically one group, but they are MIXED. so not every light haired man is exactly 100% Nordid.
take for example Taylor Swift:
She's light eyed yes, light haired yes, and look somewhat Nordic? also YES. but since she has a hint of ALPINID features, than she isn't pure Nordid, but Nordo-Alpinid. or known as Subnordid
So yes. not everyone will fit 100%, and MOST people already have niche phenotypes. such as Borreby, Subnordid, or North Atlantid. that's most people TODAY.
Another thing is ancestry and social clues: for example, you are classifying someone who's Irish, and he's part of NORDID type, you are struggling between Keltic Nordid and Tronder, but if he aligns closer to Keltic Nordid heavily, and his ancestry also supports it? then he's Keltic Nordid. don't miss out on this.
So yes, this is the easiest way to classify someone for newbies.
