how to overcome talking to new people

so im almost 18 and I have never kissed nor had a gf i dont think im bad looking, got solid physique yet still it feels like im the only one alone. most people around me have been or they currently are in a relationship and I just feel like a total loser which cant pull anything.
but that is not the thing, the thing is i got someone on my eye and i want to ask her out. everytime i try to do something, it just feels like im so close to doing it but then i just cant its hard to describe it is like something invisible is pulling me away and making it impossible to say a word. I was wondering if anyone had similiar situation, how common it is and maybe have some tips... besides "just do it"

I go through this a lot, the best thing you can do is convince yourself that there's nothing wrong with asking a girl out on a date or something like that, she'll probably accept or, at worst, say no.

i get that its hard and stuff but u just gotta do it, Just ask ur crsh bro if she says 'No" What about it u are not gonna die about it right, just go more out with ur friends etc go to partys etc etc and just talk to strangers and that feeling while slowly start fading away u just gotta do it

parties are hell on earth for me I am introvert af and im basically going out just to school and gym i dont even have a close friend I mean i have colleagues but no one yk rlly close. thanks for the tip tho ill try

Just get close with poeple if u are willing to man!, just talk to ur colleagues ask them to hangout have a conversion with them doesnt even matter if it is a couple of words man, We all had this feeling , Just think what negative that person u will talk to when u have a conversion with them like most of the time ther day will get better. (Myb for the bad english im trying to fix it)
