How to pick contact lenses?

I've always had this impression that lenses are really shitty and extremely fake looking, but I've also seen some people pulling it off and ever since I saw myself with green eye filters that shit has been in my mind. My question is (as the title suggests) what are some good brands that export to Europe? What would be some things to take into consideration when buying colored lenses and how to make them not look super fake (I'd think that a naturally looking color would be a start God knows I'm not going sharingan autistic kid mode).

take ur eyeball out measure the circumference then plop it back in, worked well for me and gave me the exact measurements
