This is mainly for manlets in the 5'6 to 5'9 range (under that is kinda over most of the time). A lot of people here think that if you’re short, you’re automatically out. Not true. The real issue is frame and proportions and how people perceive you. Here’s what you should focus on:
- Body
If you’re short, you can’t afford to be skinnyfat or skinny as hell. You need a jacked compact, well-proportioned body (broad shoulders, solid chest, defined core).
A short guy who’s muscular is perceived as way more dominant than a tall guy with a weak frame.
- Style optimization
Avoid oversized clothes. Stick to fitted pieces, cropped jackets, slimmer pants, these create a taller look. follow the proportions make ur chest appear 1/2 of ur legs.
Shoes with a 1–2 inch sole are fine as long as they’re subtle.
Also select a niche that could make u appear stylish and cool. example of this is gervonta davis that is a sever manlet with good drip and is respected.
- Movement & body language
Always walk upright, no slouched shoulders. Posture gives you “perceived” extra height.
Speak calmly, don’t over-apologize, and cut out nervous laughing, all low-status signals.
- Social dynamics
Don’t stick too close to much taller guys unless you have to, it highlights the difference.
Put yourself in contexts where face, style, and charisma matter (clubs, social events, online dating) instead of places where only height matters.
- Fighter status / being able to defend yourself
You don’t need to be pro, but showing that you train in boxing/MMA gives you instant respect.
- Dark Triad enhancers
Tattoos = more aggressive, dominant vibe.
Controlled body hair = masculinity.
- Height management
Shoes with thicker soles are fine.
Shoe lifts up to 1.5 inches max (more than that looks obvious and fake).
