How to start chatting with girls at work?

Yesterday, I did try to make jokes. I could only do reactive jokes, while we were working in the same position for the entire shift (it won't happen again), and I also already knew her name. Plus, I made some comments about our job, which was based on information I've gathered and limited events, so it cannot be replicated, it's a sort of a resource.
My head was empty as always. Other girls didn't say a word to me for 2 months at the job, and I couldn't say a word.
I would appreciate a list of ideas of how to start chatting you thought of, or heard, or practiced.
I am in the process of looksmaxxing, and will continue, and at the same time, it is the chatting with girls that is my desired outcome and the measurement of success at looksmaxxing.

I have no friends, no female friends, and no girlfriend.
After chatting with some guys at work, and benefitting them with best I have, and not receiving anything out of it except being mogged by contrast of us standing together, I don't think I want male friends from my extrapolation of such experience into the future.
I definitely enjoy chatting with girls and staring at girls. It is extremely difficult to chat for me.

I happen to believe that you can go from friendship, and specifically fun chatting, into intimate friendship and a relationship, if you are good looking enough (I will become). This is extra niceness after niceness of friendship in person.

I need to find a way to be standalone funny, not in a reactive way, and in general to be initiatory/starter in chatting. Without it, 0 contact happens, because I'm not a chad for girls to come to ME (which I've seen happen to others), so I need to come to them, with something.

I don't think it's the ick of my jokes or what I was saying. It was simply my looks and my entire existence started to annoy her as she literally repeated her saying that I am becoming annoying even while smiling from my forceful chatting at the same time.
The most important thing is, I believe with all my heart, if you are funny and interesting and friend worthy enough, she will tolerate any man with any looks, even if it means keeping him in the friend zone or acquiantence zone for now, and can improve your SMV entire several points.
I think it's not worthless to chat, I think chatting compensates and lets you overcome. It will require skill and experience, as it is a difficult (for me) thing.
