How to stop being reliant on substances (nicotine,..) to study?

I feel like I could never get interested in whether it be Calculus, Linear Algebra, Physics and shit until I generally have a purpose to do so. I had to smoke a cigarette before a study session so I could rack up my dopamine

I would get short bursts of dopamine from understanding a question and learned like crazy for a few days (would last like 1-2 days before I am completely demotivated) because I would imagine that my oneitis would be surprised from my intelligence (back when I was in high school)


Now, I just LDAR and read novels online. I just got a D on Physics 1 because im a sub80 iq retard who spent like a below-average amount of time to study it and still failed shit. Wish I had a higher IQ

I wouldnt say that Im too retarded to understand concepts. Its just that I have shit memory and couldnt even do an exercise even after I have studied them before. Truly agonizing

I know. Im only on my first year and these subjects are actually easy

Problem is I couldnt bring myself to study them because I lack the discipline and a general purpose to do so. I've tried imagining my parents in awful situations but those candles only lit for 2 minutes at best before melting off

I hate it so much. Probaly because I need a roadmap of my career and need to know what Im doing because im too damn stupid to create on ob my own
