Start with the wide end on the right of your neck, 12 inches (30 cm) lower than the thin side.
Cross the wide end over the narrow end.
Loop the wide end under the narrow end so it ends up on your right side again.
Loop the wide end back over again.
Pull the wide end up through the neck loop.
Thread the wide end down through the horizontal front loop you created.
Tighten the knot by holding the narrow end and sliding the front knot up.
