I think you need to know the difference between a FWB and a GF.

A GF is a women in which you mutually agree to date each other and not other people. A a GF you work to bond with her not only on a physical level, but on mental, emotional, etc. levels. Generally the mutual goal is to have share fun experiences together. There is generally hugging and kissing as part of the physical of the relationship and at some point in the relationship it may even involve sexual intercourse (but not a requirement).

A FWB is a woman you get together occasionally just for (great) sex. There is no commitments, no emotional ties. no mutual trust level. Either person can call it off at any time and there is not supposed to be any hard feelings.

These two “uses” for a woman are NOT the same thing.

By wanting a FWB to convert to a GF you are breaking the rules of a FWB relationship.
