it's the most stupid thing you could do, size of cream doesn't matter nearly as much as strength. 0,025% every other day mogs 0,1% once a week (you will still burn your barrier btw). if you apply smaller than pea size you won't cover all of the face. With retinols you need to be patient and start with the lowest dose and when your skin tolerates applying it every other day without redness or peeling then you can up the strength.

no you are all wrong. this is how you use it. Tretinoin is a very strong chemical so you have to be careful with it as to not further descend your skin with redness. Start by using it only 2 times per week. As time goes on increase the frequency. Unless you acne is very bad do not use it every night. Use it every other night. I used this as well as clindamycin phosphate a few years bad. Now I'm on accutane.

Lesson: All roads lead to accutane.

Also, make sure you have a good moisturizer on you (not some CereVe bs), bring it with you throughout the day. And when putting it on, first put a layer of moisturizer, then the tretinoin, and then more moisterizer. let it dry in between each layer ofc.

It’s not bad i don’t have any pimples just a bit of redness and i would like it a bit smoother

ya so then use 0.05 and your redness should be gone in less than a month tbh. you do wanna be careful, you would hate to overuse it and have more redness.

btw ALL of the middle aged women are on tretinoin jfl. its like their "secret" for smoother skin
