How visible are the expanders from Bracesshop?

I was thinking about getting the 3 way schwarz expander with reverse pull hooks from bracesshop, and apparently you’re supposed to wear it almost 24/7. If you’ve got something similar, how obvious was it that you were wearing it? Can people see the acrylic when you talk? Do the reverse pull hooks stick out?
