So I am currently 16.5 and I am planning to get some form of palate expander and braces. I have abnormal eruption (incisor growing on gum) so my ortho said they need to make way for space. I also requested for damon braces as I have heard too many horror stories of people using braces with bands. My ortho said my palate width is already decent. My fWHR is about 1.99-2.01
My main concern about getting braces is regarding maxilla and zygos. Will it flatten out my zygos? My cousin got braces and his zygos barely pops out while his father has really good zygos. Or is it just temporary while wearing braces because the first few weeks he looked truecel but now he looks better and got more jaw definition.
Any thoughts??
