TLDR/ 5’11 (180cm) HTN gets 3” taller, to 6’2 (190 cm) What happens?
This is specifically to discuss someone who is between 5’10 and 6’0. I am not interested in discussing the obvious (5’7 to 5’10 being significant) (6’4 to 6’7 being insignificant)
I am describing someone whose face, frame etc is in the HTN range- as is his height (5’11) both features being around the 70% mark.
Based off forum polls, the ‘median’ user on looksmax seems to believe they fall near this category- a 5’11 HTN.
(most people think they are ‘above average’ at almost everything. This may be why on a normie scale, a 5/10 is insulting, and a 7/10 is standard).
Now, this individual grows to 6’2 (proportionally) How does his life change? Does it to any meaningful extent? Is the new ‘height halo’ pushing him past the border of “fuckable/attractive enough” to women? Or was the lack of previous height ‘failo’ render the change wholly insignificant?
This is only about a 4% difference.
However, when Russell Wilson (5’11) was being drafted, many said (including NFL officially associated press) “if he was 2” or 3” taller he would be a first round pick”. How is that such a significant difference, even in football and not IRL?
