I keep seeing this bullshit about “you look nothing like your pictures” when in fact 99.9% of people I know look more or less the same as their pictures. Almost every single person I know, keeps the same level of attractiveness as their pics when I see them in real life. Stop this cope of thinking that you somehow magically turn into a male model in real life. Just go outside in natural lighting conditions, put your camera on timer, step away 10 feet and the picture that’s taken is more or less how you really look...your rating may only vary for the better or worse by 0.25 points in real life AT BEST.

P.S : I’m not talking about those who fraud with filter or extremely weird angles or have a potato camera, etc. I’m talking about those who post normal high quality pictures.

I don't think this is what people mean when they say "you look nothin like pics". outside natural lighting is one of the best lightings and one of the most common. Camera on timer + 10 feet seal the deal to remove distortion and angle from the equation. It's a too specific example of a pic, which has to be very carefully taken for people to not look at what's taht aspie doing posing 10 feet from his about to be stolen phone.

I wish I could take pics in that kind of light. Funny enough soft day natural light is the best lighting since it defines your face a lot while its not harsh on the skin surface itself. But taking pics outside with people around = nope lmao specially if conditions include phone far away.

I don't have backyard. I am also not gonna ask friends for pics without an excuse, i would seem narcy as fuck. Don't get me wrong im not trying to evade "true pics" I wish I could take pics with soft daylight.

This pic I posted in other thread about candid, is far away, with camera cntroled by other person so I had no way to check my angle, and drunk so no "time" to stop to pose a face for the pic. Thing is that this one is in night time and not daylight but it's the closest (recent) I got to what you say

Extending that logic, your “best” pictures should only be .25 PSL of a difference better than how you look in real life?

For example, if there’s a really good picture of me (In my opinion obviously) then I look just as good as that in real life?

Granted that there is no angle or lighting fraud then you probably look more or less the same as that pic and your attractiveness only varies by 0.25 points at best. But keep in mind that one’s perception of themselves is totally different than from what others think.
