Furosemide, like alcohol is a diuretic, which means it helps reduce fluid buildup in the body. This is why you might notice significant debating and urinate more when you’re drunk.
Of course, Lasix is a much stronger diuretic than alcohol, but I see people on here saying you need to take 160mg to see the most debloating results compared to a lower dose like 80mg which is wrong.
There’s a certain threshold at which furosemide works, and anything lower than that dosage for your body won’t do anything and anything higher won’t give you better results.
So, if 80mg (my recommended dosage) makes you noticeably debloat, taking 160mg won’t give you better results, and if it does they will be so minor compared to the extra damage you’re doing to your kidneys.
Instead of taking Lasix periodically (monthly, bimonthly, etc), I recommend using it as a hard reset if you’re extremely bloated, and supplement 4-4.7g/potassium chloride daily and take other preventative measures for bloating afterwards. This way, you’ll stay as debloated as possible after already flushing your body of its water.
After taking Lasix make sure you resupply your body with electrolytes, I recommend any popular electrolyte powder supplements on Amazon as you can drop dead with having no electrolytes in your body.
