The fact that you will adapt to ur current living conditions (happiness levels will drop back to baseline) means you will never be forever in a high of happiness no matter what you achieve

Ofc it’s not as black and white and I’m not saying some brokie subhuman is as happy as a rich chad but the difference isn’t as substantial as you think

If you suddenly woke up as a rich chad for example you will be on a constant high for weeks maybe even months but soon things start to kick in

Problems you’d consider nothing now start to affect you like much bigger problems do now

that’s also why there’s many cliches like the chase was better than the end, it’s never enough or ppl who say they got what they always wanted but still feel like shit

User true to his name I see, incels will say that's water, but all my experience confirms this - no matter what you acquire it's always novelty for a short time, then it's normal / status quo "used to it", rising standard of living means more work to preserve the wealth and all this bullshit.

Sometimes it's a 'lifefuel' to me, when I start to think how some of my buddies achieved more in terms of money/status/family, but then I think of how relative it is, also most of them are starting to transform into fat pieces of shit, there are divorces in play & stress, I will keep improving in one metric that is uber important above all - looks / and what comes with it is not so obvious to :bluepill: crowd... ;)

Nothing says chase is better than the end than me finding out the search for the perfect porn video was more exciting than the jerkoff itself

This is why happiness isnt a good goal to have
