I wonder if that's what happened to all those volunteers who went to Ukraine, this guys probably lived pretty decent life but decided to go die in a war started by some schizo and that Zelensky could easily stop right now by just negotiating but he's in love with all that money he's getting

Explain ernst junger then? He romanticized his experience of world war 1 and plenty of former SS soldiers enlisted later on as mercenaries in the congo, some men crave extreme adrenaline and it isnt some extremely rare condition or a form of psychopathy

I want to die and I want to hurt people. War fits both of these needs, hence why I want to go into the military.

There isn't anything romantic about it. I've tried everything else and nothing makes me happier than getting hurt (mostly in the gym) or hurting others (physically). I wish I could just watch some movies or play some vidya and be done with it, but I can't. I desire violence at a physiological level.

War should be romanticized less though 100%. I see Western White boys getting most brainwashed by it. A lot of them see it as the only way to "reclaim their manhood" and "preserve their culture". Being Black I don't have this mindset, and consequently I've been pushed heavily away from going into the military, especially due to the extensive racism that may be present within the CAF.
