The Hunter eyes are about the sharpness and hooded ness
I was always against the need for them to be super squinty
You have sense unlike most people

I see your point, but it's relative. Compare the eyes of a dysgenic, domesticated chihuahua to an apex predator like a mountain lion.

What traits does the mountain lion have relatively?
- hooding
- elongated palpebral fissures
- more robust zygoma
- vertically smaller and wider orbits
- more forward orbits
- downturned medial canthus
- raised lateral canthus

While it may still have round eyes overall, they're far less round than that of a weaker creature. Same thing applies to humans, we just naturally have wider, more rectangular eyes, so hunter eyes in humans will manifest differently.

another thing I forgot to mention that's kind of hard to explain is the prominence of the lateral orbital rims, which is what can make one set of eyes look like it's looking outwards and one looking forward, independent of eye spacing.
