Everybody knows that pedophilia is bad. Take a walk in the park, ask a random person if they think pedophilia is a bad thing. i dont need to explain further about what their response may be. But now, change that to asking if hybristophilia is bad. Chances are, they've never even heard of it and have no idea what it means. However, both of these disorders show an extreme side on both ends of the spectrum in relation to human nature and mate preferences, yet for various reasons only one is taken seriously and the other is disregarded and never talked about.

Pedophilia is a well documented social issue, and is seen all the time in mainstream media and is seen in the highest form of disgust and evil. take for example pedophiles in prison often get murdered and tortured, with even the guards turning a blind eye. Pedophilia impacts children, who are vulnerable and helpless and innocent, and is a purely selfish crime. Remember this, it will be important later on. Now hybristophilia mainly affects women. Now, if we look at evolution, men are attracted most to fertile women. This is mostly from late teens up to 24, and this is seen as a completely socially unacceptable thing to say for whatever reason. Even despite the fact that most countries in europe have an age of consent of 15-16. that is a grey area, and i wouldnt really consider them pedophiles. By pedophiles in this context i mean men who are attracted to children. This is a psychiatric disorder, and its completely illogical to be attracted to children as they arent fertile and completely immoral to act upon the urges.
Now lets use the same concept with women. Due to evolution, women are attracted to men who display machivellian, narcissistic, and psychopathic traits. there are numerous studies showing this and surface level digging you can find them. One study done on spanish adolescents showed that on average, misogynistic men were more sexually active on average. This goes against everything preached by women. The bestselling romance books for women are also all about evil mafia bosses and abusive psychopaths, basically proving that actions over words matter and that this is real. it is the only logical explanation and it lines up with pre existing scientific knowledge about evolution. But now, on the extreme end of the spectrum are women who lust after and chase literal serial killers in real life, and stay with abusive partners. This is a real issue because when women sleep with abusive men, it literally incentivises that behaviour. women essentially contribute to their own abuse
. say theres a guy who beats women and gets laid all the time, what are his friends gonna do if they cant get laid? hmmm… i wonder. its basic cause and affect. if a trait is demonstrating mating success, then that trait will be replicated. This is the same reason why women heighten their voice, and wear makeup that accentuates neotenous features.
In short, hybristophilia literally causes more guys to act abusive, and women claim misogynistic men are more sexually active on average because they are manipulated by them
