What does hydrocortisone actually do like i have gotten the tip that i should use it cus ig it kinda makes the nose smaller if there is sweling or something but from what i can find from research its really just that but does it hae some other effects that make ur nose permanentally smaller or why its good or something for looksmaxxing

It slims down your nose if you have a bulbous nose, imo just use accutane itll do the same or even better results and will last longer

hydrocortisone’s just a topical corticosteroid, it doesn’t "shrink" your nose in any structural or permanent way. what it actually does is reduce inflammation, redness, and localized swelling by suppressing the immune response in that area. so yeah, if your nose looks puffier from irritation, dermatitis, or post-tret irritation, it can make it temporarily tighter or slimmer because the tissue’s less inflamed. but using it long-term or on thin facial skin is a bad move, it thins the dermis, weakens capillaries, and can cause rebound swelling once you stop. that’s why people think it worked for a few days then their skin flares worse after.
