Some american ones, but the italians probably could too, normal sliding genio plasty will just stretch skin, it wont do much to hyiod skin

I mean it depends on the case ofc, but yea it will help for sure. If no neck lift is needed is hard to say

Google, and you can see on pic four how the hyiod is raised by pulling the hole tongue and muscle attached to it upward.

Which raises it , else thw hyiod stay the same during genio mostly

This is actually the best surgery in terms of ROI, alot of trimax cases are mostly 30-40% for the bimax(depends on the severity) and 60-70% the work of genioplasty, but it depends again, having deep mentolabial and getting genio won't turn out aesthetically pleasing.

i have to mention this to my surgeon. i dont have any concerns with my chin projection but my hyoid cucks me so bad

Seems cool, wonder if it can be performed when your chin is asymmetric.

Also, would like to add that functional benefits from genio are often overlooked. There are cases where genio alone is enough to treat sleep apnea/lip incompetence.
