(Ive only watched classic naruto never watched shippuden so if im getting something wrong dont flame me).
so to start off, everyone in narutos class in the first couple episodes of the show thirsts over sasuke the nonchalant chad, the only girl who doesn't is hinata who likes naruto (which i will get into later). Sasuke is the last member of the Uchiha clan at this point, one of if not the strongest clan in the show possessing the sharingan and innate strong chakra levels. Every girl would want to marry into this family since it carries status, not to mention Sasukes noted good looks. Hinata is a member of a clan (dont remember the name) that carries an eye called the Byakugan, this eye allows the user to see the chakra of everyone in their vision. She was the first person to ever notice Narutos extremely strong chakra, even before he knew, stronger than Sasuke's or anyone else in that class. he chakramogged the entire class and it made hinata fall in love with him.
(all the girls besides hinata arguing about whos gonna sit next to sasuke while ignoring naruto)
