You have the choice to die in 1 month or in 10,000 years
You are given an ultimatum. You must either cut your life short and die in exactly 30 days, or commit to a taste of immortality and stick around for 10,000 years.
If you choose the short path your life will proceed as normal until your 30 day timer runs out.
If you choose the long path you will become immortal for the duration of your 10,000 year timer.
You will not physically age and are immune to mental deterioration and disease. You will have regenerative powers to counteract grievous physical injuries, but the time and pain required to heal will be proportional to the severity of the injury.
