In Romania it has been proven a long time ago it's a scam, I mean it's controlled by the state, only they are allowed to run lottery games, many dubious persons have won big prizes - people with political connections or related to various politicians or influential persons, the machines used to extract the numbers can be easily rigged, in fact it says right there in their officials manuals how to set them to extract various balls, the company producing the machines has removed the manuals from the site and now allows only people who bought the machines access to them, but they are still available on "the wayback machine".
