I almost got into an accident on the way leaving the gym.

Same shit happened to me once too. I was a dumb kid, maybe around 8 or so, so 2009-ish, and me and my friend was out a dark evening close to where we lived doing random stuff. We decided to try running across a road, he was fine, but a car approached me fast as I ran across which I didn’t see until it stopped. It managed to stop just in time but it was dark and was just mere meters away from me. That experience, and the headlights being so close to me in darkness, is still burned in my mind
