How does Pete Davidson keep getting work???

I don't hate Pete Davidson. In fact I wish him the best. His dad died in 9/11. He struggles or struggled with depression and substance abuse. And when Grande fans cyberbullied him when he was down, I was real pissed. So what I say I mean as a personal observation: He can't act for shit. And he's not funny. He breaks harder and more often than Fallon ever did, his only notable recurring sketch involves him doing the absolute bare minimum, and in every other sketch he just gets cast as "Some Guy." Just some guy. Usually on the young side. That's his job. A prop in sketches where they need just some young looking guy that blends in with the extras. Because he's one of the few players on SNL that is actually young.

But he keeps getting offers for work. And it's gotten baffling for me. What does Hollywood see in him? Some people argue that life just happens for Chads. And yes, Davidson does play a guy named Chad in his only notable recurring sketch. But is he himself a "Chad?"

Tall? Yes. Big dick? That's what people tell me. But face? What about his face? Does it matter or not??? How is he doing this???
