Youโ€™re still 22? I thought you were older. Anyway, itโ€™s good that you have no health issues. But they typically arise when you get older. Diabetes runs in my family, but it doesnโ€™t get โ€œactivatedโ€ until we become middle-aged men.

health is the most important thing. it's more important than anything, more than looks, height. without health, life is a drag

I have asthma as well, but I didnโ€™t get it until I was like 12. I only found out because I had an asthma attack. It was probably the scariest thing I ever experienced, and Iโ€™ve been โ€œattackedโ€ by random large dogs at night.

How is that? Does alcoholism run in your family?
Yes i have mentioned this many times before. My uncle used to be an alcoholic too but has been sober for many years. My dad never had to depend on alcohol but used to be a heavy drinker but has slowed down a lot. I still drink alcohol but in moderation.

Do you need your inhaler often? I was such a dumbass. I started smoking at 13 even though I had asthma, and I did it for years. :ICANT:

Ahhh, right, right. Thatโ€™s interesting. I never understood the appeal of alcohol. When I was younger, I was irreligious and also underweight. I had drank a bunch of different alcoholic drinks. I remember once hanging out in the woods with my friends and we snuck out lots of beer. We were 15 at the time. I drank 7 beer bottles in a row and I didnโ€™t even get drunk. Funny, right?

Alcohol only starts becoming an actual issue when it shifts from occasional fun/social thing into a go to escape or way to cope with stress, emotions, boredom, or whatever life's throwing at you. That was what it was for me when I was a teen a temporary hole to fall into instead of dealing with the real stuff

Like the serious asthama kind where you can die if you don't have inhaler or just inflammation due to pollen or something

I see, so people drink it to socialize? Here, we usually do that with smoking. Sure, it helps.. Iโ€™ve had conversations with people who would otherwise never start one with me, only because I was smoking. Thatโ€™s probably the only thing I โ€œmissโ€ about not smoking anymore. Good that you managed to not fall into that trap, BTW.

I am guessing inflammation? Iโ€™ve gone years without needing the inhaler at all. Though there are times where I *THINK* I donโ€™t need it, only for me to be able to breathe a lot better/easier when I use my inhaler, so I donโ€™t even realize that I need it. Kinda funny.

bridges and pistol squats are the best long term functionality exercises Iโ€™ve ever learned
