I’ve watched so many horror movies that ghosts, demons, and jump scares don’t faze me anymore. What really scares me now is people. I would happily go to graveyard no problem but walk into a crime ridden neighborhood hell no.

Humans can be absolutely barbaric. Humans can torture, manipulate, kill, and still sleep peacefully at night
Ghosts may haunt you, but humans will smile to your face while stabbing you in the back. They lie, cheat, and destroy lives not out of survival, but out of greed, jealousy, or just plain cruelty. No spirit from a horror movie has ever done the kind of damage a human can. The real monsters don’t live in abandoned houses or graveyards they live next door, sit in boardrooms, wear uniforms, or even call themselves family. This is why criminals are 10x scarier than some fantasy tales ghosts and spirits which is why I carry weapons I am scared of humans way more than some stupid ghost

That’s why horror movies like the Texas Chain Saw Massacre are more terrifying because they could happen in real life, unlike supernatural horror movies.

Which Japanese horror movies have you watched? I must have watched at least a hundred. South Korean horror movies are good too. Thai movies can be good but they’re like western horror movies, jump scare galore. Chinese horror movies are in-between good and alright.

Nice. They all have American remakes btw. I remember The Grudge being out here in 2005 and at the mosque, kids would discuss having watched it and we thought that they were incredibly badass for watching. Haha.
