Hello everyone. I am an endurance, ultra distance runner but I still love self improving. I've lost bunch of weight and improved my looks but there are still a few things I want to change. My upper body is very skinny to the point i can see every bone including my spine. But I'm okay with that because of my sport. The reason I'm writing this is my legs. THEY ARE ENORMOUS. They are pretty muscular but they are big and I want to change that and make them slim. I run 15km every day 6 days a week and spend from 3.000 to 3.500 calories daily. Is there any solution to my problem, I'd love to use it to fix it. Thank you for the help if there will be any.

Go to the gym and lift to make your upper body bigger until it’s proportional to your legs. Dont train legs in the gym. If you enjoy running and want to keep doing it then go ahead, but grow your arms and torso. You don’t need smaller legs you need to stop having DYEL shoulders/arms/chest/back

bro's built like a t-rex 💀

okay jokes aside ur running 15k a day 6 days a week, ur legs are gonna be inevitably huge and developed, either cut back on the running or gymmaxx your upper body just as hard.

Hahaha, good one. I agree with you, they are very developed and muscular but I didn't think the gym is so important. I will be getting into it today. Thank you!

all good; if u dont know where to start i recommend calisthenics and compound movements in general which should build the torso and its main stabilizer muscles (rotator cuffs, back, abs, traps, obliques, chest, serratus etc),
such as (obviously not limited to):
- pullups
- pushups
- quadrobics

and since (in my experience) arms dont respond that well in size to training methods you can also specific-train them such as with chinups or dips.

good luck bhai 👍

I have some pretty big mates who are like gym freaks so I'll just train with them, but still thank you for the advices!

Endurance sports seems to be a looksmin long-term, maybe because of body adaptations. Maraphon runners look very meh. I'm not sure it's healthy either. If you are not professional (meaning, you are not getting money and awards from doing it), I would consider reevaluating your choices, decreasing endurance activities and adding some higher intensity ones.

I am an ultra marathon runner, I do get rewards from it and I’ve been doing it for a longer time now. Unfortunately quitting is not an option for me but i can add some lifting sessions into my workouts.
