idek, i tried cutting retainer on top left canine, but couldnt, i ended up just pulling the wire a bit. and now my canine is extruding and being pushed out of its socket, its assymetrical compared to other canine. the tooth feels sensitive and tingly like when i had braces. think its coz i had extraction braces, my teeth are reverting to natural position, i shouldnt have done this and just left it ngl. crazy how it moved so much in just 1 day. im gonna try pull the wire back, or see dentist in few days

19, finished ortho treatment 2 yrs ago. ignore this post, all g now, i played some hardstyle music and removed the bottom and top retainer. i recorded a vid of me doing it if any1 needs a tutorial, its pre easy actually, but idk if id recommend, ill see if my teeth relapse

Nice, I’m 17. Had braces, had a retainer too post-braces but never wore and my teeth got a bit crooked again but definitely better than pre-braces. Other I think the braces messed up my developing jawline.

you should only have fixed retainer or no retainer at all i think. if you mew and expand in day, and then retainer pushes on teeth at night, itll cause teeth to loosen, and hinder gains
