Just align your teeth however you can? Its not that big of a deal. I have an overbite and I do just fine.

Near the incisors, yes. There are ridges as well, but no bumps in the middle of the upper palate.

The "tip" is the bump I was referring to, but I can actually feel a large one in the very back of my palate as well.
