I swear I didn't touch my eyes with the stuff. They just suddenly started stinging slightly.

Are retinoids harmful to your eyes? I use 0.2% retinol once every 2 days, so effectively 0.7% retinol a week.

You are gonna go blind

Unfortunately I don't have Vaseline.

I'm not really hurting anymore, I just had to blink a bunch of times. I've never had this happen to me before.

That's what i do everyday when I apply tretinoin, although I use cerave healing ointment but it's mostly made of the same stuff as vaseline. I have had some eye swelling so I'm going to stop tret for a week and see what happens though

What strength is your tretinoin?

So you apply it every day?

0.5% is the only strength you can get here and yes I apply everyday with no problems until my eye. But I think it's more of an eczema/itching problem now and I also had a really puffy eye likely from infection 3 or so weeks ago so could be that

That's a lot.

I think the typical prescription is 0.05%. Half a percent a day is huge.

Nvm I just searched the brand and it says each gram of cream contians 0.5g tretinoin and I was thinking of that, yeah it's 0.05

Yeah, that makes a lot more sense jfl, 0.5 would peel your skin right off.

I wanna order tret online when I have the money, I'll go for the 0.05% as well, I'll prolly use it like once a week.

My eyes only burn when I apply fucking sunscreen. Before I would apply the highest strength tret near them with little issue.

What you used like 0.1% tretinoin? Every day?

Damn, that's pretty risky.

Vitamin A is crucial for eye health. You should smear a pea-sized amount into your eye to reverse myopia.

Had the same issue with Tret. Just leave your eye area alone (in my case, even moisturizer leads to more irritation there, especially if already irritated) and it most likely will normalize soon enough

Yeah I used 0.1% tret every night for like 6 months, and it made my shit pristine and smooth. I remember one time though my skin reacted very badly to it cause I either applied too much or used too much moisturizer immediately after, and as a result my skin turned tomato red burning like a motherfucker. Very painful lol

I’m having the same problem. How do you not get this shit in your eyes?

Well I drop them on my forehead, cheeks and chin and I just rub it over my face

Yeah but I want to moisturize my eye fat pads and eye lids as well. And it ends up getting in my eyes.
