Why do some people refuse to apply this everyday? I apply the highest concentration everyday, sometimes 2x a day since 2 years. Its great to counter steroid aging. I dont see the point of skipping days.

I'm on about 5 - 6 times per week; since 3 months now. But on the lowest dosis 0.025.

I also have zero side effects. Although as precaution, I pre-mosterize (20 minutes orso before I put on the retin-A. Because of scary of turning red or into a flaking bafoon. I only use, pea size per one session.

I recal from studies, I soon should start to see a mayorly nice return on investment. Since studies often showed good results only after like 4 months or so

After I finished my 2 tubes (I'm only 0.5 tubes in), I will maybe buy new ones with the next up amount of 0.05, because I'm getting older.
Although I'm still in doubt, to maybe just stay on 0.025, because of recalling what I read in thsi study. What do you think, or know?

The concept of low strength tretinoin had gained interest when Griffiths and colleagues (1995) reported observations made in a 48 week, double-blind, vehicle-controlled trial (n = 90) that compared clinical efficacy and tolerability of 0.025% and 0.1% tretinoin cream. The authors observed that both 0.025% and 0.1% tretinoin resulted in statistically significant improvement in all histological and clinical signs of photoaging as compared with vehicle, but there were no clinically or statistically significant differences between the two concentrations of tretinoin. However, the incidences of adverse effects were significantly greater in the 0.1% tretinoin group as compared with the 0.025% tretinoin group. Thus, it was speculated that low strength tretinoin might be a good option for those patients who can not tolerate standard therapy (0.05%). Thereafter, Nykady and colleagues (2001) conducted two 24 weeks, double-blind and vehicle-controlled trials to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of 0.02% tretinoin cream applied once daily in 328 patients with moderate to severely photodamaged skin. Interestingly, both studies showed that there is significantly greater improvement in clinical signs of photoaging like fine wrinkling, coarse wrinkling, sallowness, and mottled hyperpigmentation (only in one study) as compared with vehicle. Moreover, the treatment was safe and well tolerated in most of the patients. Tretinoin cream 0.02% is now recognized by the FDA for the treatment of photoaging.

Do you see any improvements with 0.025? I noticed that like 2 days ago 'tretoin purge' stopped for me after using it for 2 weeks. After I apply moisturizer my skin is glowing, it's amazing. I also pre-ordered 0.05 and 0.1 from alldaychemist after my 0.025 runs out. I literally have no redness with 0.025 anymore after 2 weeks.

Yassss, I did the mistake to not apply the moisturizer the first days and my skin was falling down like trees leafs in autumn, but now I'm applying it like crazy, almost finished my first tube of 0.1%. I'm gonna be young forever!!!

yes, smoother skin. Like asif had a small facelift orso, asif the skin tightened a little bit.
Also 1 improvement is that. Because I started this year experimenting with moisterizer creams and stuff. My skin got sometimes a few pimples, because of being clogged I assume or needing to adjuct to the creams. The tretinoin fixxed that pretty much really quick.

I don't know if I ever pruged. I don't recall or saw that.

Great that your readness stopped after 2 weeks. I think I did nearly never have any redness, or maybe like the first 2 times orso a little. But then very little, because I don't even recall it anymore.

It's part of the holy trinity. Tretinoin, Isotretinoin and microneedling.
