They changed the iconic legendary super saiyan form from golden to a lesser blue hue. You will never reach the same level of hype as these legendary scenes. I don’t care what super does in the future. This og dbz scene is stuck in my mind forever.



Compare that scene to the weak super scene here. While still legendary There just is no comparison.

It was unreal as a kid. Everyone knew what a super saiyan was and the transformation was so hyped up, seeing it in action was even cooler. When frieza, this guy who seemed impossibly strong, who even destroyed vegeta easily in his base form, was beaten it felt amazing. The novelty wore off sure, but the show continued to have hype moments like the father son kamehameha, vegeta's sacrifice and redemption and goku revealing super saiyan 3

Even OG DB was really good. It was funny and had a lot of great fight choreography, not to mention the piccolo jr arc when so many characters died and it actually felt like something, when the world seemed really hopeless at the time.

Compare that to supers kaioken x20 blue form, ultra instinct, gogeta/vegito blue fusion. All of these pale in comparison and are just built off of what dbz created. You can never go back to what was.
