Because those very values go against the hierarchical structure of nature which Christianity claims to have created. In nature people are not rewarded for being monogamous, fair or forgiving they are rewarded for genetics, will and power. If Christianity where the true religion then the world wouldn't have been created in such a way where nature and human intuition is actually "wrong" and that you would need this man made book and to follow these man made rules and that is what would actually be deemed as "right". Christianity and religion as a whole is a tool that was created for power as well as a coping mechanism for people to hide from the fact that everyone who has lived will eventually die and transition into a state of non existence.
