its not as black and white as u think. Girls in HS are hyperaware of social status and how they'll be perceived for dating someone by their friends, clique, school etc.

being attractive will negate the social status tax depending on how GL u are; but in my case, where you have terrible rep but mog most of the school, its not gonna cancel out shit cuz i didn't ascend to opry level.
