This is normal. I dont like seeing human gore, I care less about animal gore because I am partially desentitized to it. Although I wouldnt like to see any pets I own in pain.

I think the main difference is whether you see the being as friend or foe. Atleast with animals its why most people don't care about cows getting slaughtered but will start crying when chinese people eat dogs.

I would imagine I would care alot less about seeing an "enemy human" getting killed in opposition to a good person. Its why I find these gore videos gross, because its usually some innocent person getting mutilated.
