This is an attempt at creating an Indian-specific SMV scale (IndoSMV).
India is very different from the West and Europe because the attractiveness bar is objectively lower for men. Because....
1. Basic male grooming is discouraged or ignored in many parts of the country as it is considered a womanly pursuit.
2. National average male height hovers around 5'5" to 5'7" (Punjabis and Haryanvis being taller by 2 or 3 inches).
3. High-PSL features like positive canthal tilt, hunter eyes, square jaws, compact midface, and strong forward growth are rare in the typical Indian phenotype.
4. Indians generally get married by late 20s/early 30s and men let themselves go, gaining a lot of weight, neglecting grooming, and balding early, which shrinks the pool of decent looking guys in everyday life.
As a result, the average Indian male falls sub-3 to sub-5 on the global SMV scale (the standard PSL-based system calibrated to Western/European realities). This means even global MTNs get treated like Chads or Chad-lites in India.
That's why Indians need their own ranking system, tailored to their local realities, competition, and perceptions.
KEY TERMS:
- Global SMV: Rating on the worldwide SMV scale, based on Western/European standards of harmony, dimorphism, angularity, and features.
- IndoSMV: Rating adjusted for India's lower bar. It only applies to people in India. It is a similar 1 to 10 scale, but tiers shift upward so Chad status hits earlier (e.g., global 5.5–6.0 = full Desi Chad).
IndoSMV TIERS:
- True Desicel (1 to 3): Recessed everything, very short (5'3" or below), poor skin/hairline, no frame. Zero interest shown by women. They get married if the woman is forced by her family in an arrangement, or nothing. (Global equivalent: hard subhuman)
- Low Tier Desi (LTD) (3 to 4): Basic poor or negligent Indian guy. No sense of grooming, fashion, basic hygiene. Thin/skinny-fat or overweight. Usually dark skinned or from lower caste backgrounds. Women settle when arrange married but never chase.
- Mid Tier Desi (MTD) (4 to 5.5): Decent wheatish skin, essential grooming, average jaw/eyes/hairline, 5'6"-5'8" height. They get friendzoned. No "wow" factor.
- High Tier Desi (HTD) (5.5 to 6.5): Clearly above the crowd. Better grooming, slightly sharper/average features, 5'9"+. Good options without trying, average to high-value girls in class or office engage first and give IOIs (indicators of interest). The "he would do" guy.
- Desi Chadlite (6.5 to 7.5): Elite local tier. Tall for India (5'10"+), fair/wheatish skin, good almond shaped eyes + good jaw/structured beard, solid frame. Bollywood actors or top influencers level. Pulls high-value girls easily; women notice them instantly.
- Desi Chad (7.5 to 8.5): God-tier in the Indian market. Good grooming + height (6'+ rare), fair skin, masculine yet harmonious features, strong frame. Gets smiles, “awe” reactions, and nervous giggles even in conservative parts, gossip material. Makes girls act differently.
- Desi Gigachad (8.5 to 10): Once-in-a-generation anomaly. Combines rare genetics (international model bones even by Western standards) + perfect maxxing. Basically untouchable. Either western looking Indian, or Global MTN+ Caucasian tourist in India.
FINAL ADJUSTMENTS:
- Height bonus: 5'9" is already HTD territory, 5'11"+ pushes straight to Desi Chadlite.
- Dark skin penalty: -2.0 in North India, and -1.0 in South India.
- Lower caste penalty: -2.0 if untouchable or similar.
- Small penis leniency: Average erect Indian dick size 5.1, but since Indians lack sexual experience, even 4.5 inches gets a pass.
IF YOU ARE A PASSPORT-BRO IN INDIA:
- Take your global SMV rating and add +3.0 to it if you are caucasian.
- Ratings stay neutral if you are a tall Black man or Latin.
- -3.0 if you are a short or average-height Black man.
- East Asian/Other: If K-pop lookalike, add +3.0. If not, no effect.
