I literally cannot sit still, I am basically always moving in some way

I cant focus on the same thing for a long time

Before you say it’s because my phone or something It’s been like this all of my life

The thing is, this isn’t a problem if I’m outside working, or doing hands on stuff, it just is a problem if I have to study or work inside on a computer all of my life

This is the main reason I’m dropping out of university

I’m the exact opposite, I’ve sit in complete silence and haven’t done anything for hours. I’m definitely more patient and able to handle stillness than the average person.

Kinda but at the same time it makes me an unmotivated person I just like to relax and do the exact same thing all the time, I don’t like change, variety or difficulty of any kind like normies.

You're just energetic, if you had ADHD you would have known in your earlier years.

I think both of our problems can be fixed by just finding work that’s more fits your personality

I mean ADHD is the easiest diagnosis to get in the world, 5% of the population could get the diagnose. It's just lack of braincells really

Yeah, but most people don't get diagnosed by a doctor. They just say that have ADHD when they don't.
My parents (thought) i had ADD when I really didn't.

I have always gotten really good grades though, even without studying and paying little attention in class, so I feel like they would’ve had no reason to diagnose me

It's just that the cost of getting diagnosed is high, and it's just taking a iq test..if you score shot in working memory and overall memory you have ADHD. So getting diagnosis is just just a sign of retardation

how tf is it linked?
If you have recession your frontal lobe might get underdeveloped as well because of bad sleep and bruxism. Lack of neuro receptors or whatever, I don't have the science on hand. But there are good bimax surgeons talking about the connection, and it's seems kinda clear

Not necessarily. Many don't realize it until adulthood.

Yeah, they don't realize they have ADHD. But it's not like the effects of having ADHD just suddenly spawned in.

Here gunson talks about the connection between adhd and bruxism, which most people have because of recession and sleep disorders. (In the end of the video)

I’ve always noticed it, it’s just never caused any problems or anything, so I had no reason to talk about it

I might have ocd but I don’t think so. I can’t touch anything without washing my hands after. The outside is separate from my bedroom, this means no matter what, if I lay in my bed I must be showered, so even if I’m out of the house for 5 minutes I need to shower. I used to perform a ritual of checking things in threes but I got over it by not feeding the impulse. I can’t eat anything that’s touched off any floor like surface no matter how clean or how short. I Used to repeat things I had to do over and over in sequence and had an order for washing which I repeated in my head. I got over most of these but I still do a light pat down of my body with hands that were under the tap even if I just go down the stairs as it doesn’t feel fully clean.

Ocd and adhd are very commonly found together, up to 30% of people with adhd also have ocd

I’m not restless or impulsive of any kind with any adhd symptoms but I do get uncomfortable if I don’t follow my compulsions, but it’s weird as it’s mostly tied to my house and if I’m in a hotel or something it’s not as bad. I guess I feel I have to keep it pure and untainted, but those places are tainted already so who cares.

make sure you manging your mental health adhd can lead to many more harmful disorders (i develvoped npd)

parents saying "you're just lazy" and "you don't have anything wrong with you" denying your disorder can develvop into personality disorders

adhd causes a high risk with drug addiction, which can cause substance abuse disorders

etc

the only way you would have "known" is if a doctor diagnosed meaning lets say your parents are anti pharma or medicine whatever and they dont bring you to a doctor does that mean you dont have a mental illness if you havent seen a doctor ?

what does adhd even mean. According to the internet it's litterally any symptom you can think of. AM i failure in life because of adhd or am i a lazy low iq bum. I guess the only way to prove if someone has adhd or not is to give them adhd medication and if there life improves then they have it and vice versa

Uni is so hard for me even with addy. Adhd truly warrants being labeled as disabled
