I despise how normies reduce personality to what kind of shit you consume

Recently I was watching Clavicular on Adam Friedland because it was posted on here. I don't know who Adam is and I thought the whole thing was completely boring with how badly Clavicular was out of his element. The comments, however, were more interesting. I was curious to see how he would be perceived and to no one's surprise Adam's largely left wing, ageing millennial user base was in full on cope mode. There was a recurring theme of people claiming that Clavicular has no personality because he has no hobbies, can't name movies or music he likes, etc. While it is true that he can come off as a charisma vacuum (especially in this setting which was clearly not a serious interview but a comedy show), it is insane to me how to the average normie's personality can be reduced to the shit that they consume. Your character by far has nothing to do with the music you consume or what movies you watch. Your tastes will be a reflection of your character but not the other way around. If someone was to press them, do they think what movies or music they like would have any effect on the outcome JFL? I feel like they are some of the most boring people out there because their whole personality can be deducted to what films they like, what slop they see on the TV and what hobbies they have. They are what they consume. To me they're like cattle who stuff themselves with grass and then say that their personality is to chew on said grass.

Your character is how you react. It is especially evident when something challenging of difficult comes along. If in a dangerous situation do you run away or face it head on? Are you able to keep a steady hand? If you're broke and down on your dick are you able to take it in good spirits and humor or are you likely to despair and to wallow in it? If you have a big plan coming up and there's a great hurdle do you feel more motivated to continue or do you give up and leave? This is who you are aka your personality, character or whatever you want to name it.

I suspect that these kind of people have very weak character hence why they cope with having "good" taste in music and so on. To say someone "doesn't have a personality" because they can't namedrop random shit that they listen to is laughable.

its especially hard for me. because wit 99% of peoplee who get to know me it always boils down to ''what do u watch'' ''what do u listen'' etc. and their gonna build their impressions off me. its very troubling having conversations like that.

i like opinionated discussions like i had a very good discussion with an irl abt blackpill and if its actually prevelant, morality, tech advancement. someone says ''hru,wyd'' and i have no idea wt to answer

i have some hobbies i do like mma/boxing. but i am not 100% passionate in it, i will never be passionate or fully be into something. so the idea of basing my character off that is so odd. and its whats gonna happen with 90% of people u encounter. OVERR
