She works at a business I've frequented since 2019. I've flirted with her this whole time. For the most part, my flirts have been lame.
Recently, something changed: I found out she's married.
Ever since finding out she's married, my flirts have gotten way more impressive.
Here's why the knowledge of her marital status has led to more impressive flirts on my part: Because now that I know she's off limits, there's no pressure to impress her. With the pressure gone, I end up being a better flirter.
Back before I knew she was married, I thought I had a chance with her. So there was all sorts of pressure to impress her. I don't do well under pressure.
