Apparently you need to be German, know the German history, culture, traditions, how they think, etc. and read the book in the original language to really understand it, otherwise it makes no sense, Hitler's charisma and speeches worked only on the German population during his time and leaders and intellectuals from other countries couldn't really figure out what exactly made him so popular, his translated speeches and book seemed pretty underwhelming...
