Your actual skin color is more complex than just a linear line. There is multiple factors that influence your skin color like melanin, undertones etc. That's why white girls that have a good diet and go on the beach are so fucking hot. Further it also doesn't change your bone structure.

That's why a white girl with a tan isn't all of a sudden going to look like she's a brown girl from India. A white girl with a tan is hot asf, but that doesn't mean being brown is better because it's not the same thing.
