I'm inclined to believe your right. There's this guy at the gym who's much shorter but he has long arms and a good torso to leg than me and he looks just taller than he is subconsciously. Like you know he's short but it's like its ok. Very odd. Then when I look at me I'm almost 6 foot to 5'11 and yet I look shorter due to leg to torso ratio. It helped to grow muscle as it's helped make my torso look shorter somehow. But I'll never have ultra long legs. Just avg with too long of a torso
