In English there are only 26 alphabets, 12 tenses and very straightforward grammar rules, no gendered nouses, no complex case by case verbs etc. Like sure higher level English writing and speaking can get difficult and takes time but conversational English is not hard at all. English also is rich in words, phrases and idioms so there is no need to make long compound words to described something like in german either. Everything is simplified and easu. You can learn it in just a few months even from scratch. Heck even I find it easier to talk in English to explain something than in my own mother tongue because of the words scarcity that exists in my mother tongue. German, Slavic languages, Mandarin, Arabic these are actually difficult languages to learn
