i don’t think islam causes violence by itself. i think middle eastern desert people do

middle eastern people are harsh, cruel and violent, not because of islam alone, but because they are biologically predisposed to such behaviour due to their competitive environment (arid, resource-poor deserts)

think about it. bosnians are muslim but much more chill and less extreme. similarly indonesians are also muslim but tend to be more educated and less prone to violence

im fully convinced the only reason the middle east is in the state it’s in today is because of the war-like nature of the people who inhabit it

if the entire middle east became christian or atheist tomorrow literally nothing with change. the people there will still continue to kill each other but instead of doing it in the name of allah they will do it in the name of jesus or science lol

it doesn’t help that islam was founded in the deserts of arabia and therefore reflects the nature of the people there, thats why you still occasionally find the violent european muslim or south east asian muslim
